Dave Briggs’ Twitter Guide for Government goes global
With interest in Dave Briggs‘ free Twitter: A Quick Start Guide for Those In and Around Government reaching all four corners of the world, we thought we’d ask those who downloaded it what they thought.
Freshness, quality and layout of the content of the Twitter Guide were all big hits with the downloaders. So much so, that over 90% would recommend this guide to colleagues and friends.
“I have high expectations and the guide met these,” commented one of our UK respondents.
“In terms of actually getting your Twitter account rolling, Dave’s step-by-step guide provides a great introduction,” said a NHS Communications Officer.
One of our downloaders from the police service thought that their contact networks would benefit from the guide and subsequently forwarded it on to them.
Impressions were certainly made in UK, Canada, USA and Australia as these featured as the top downloading countries. We learned that Twitter really has been grasped by all different types of employees worldwide from Strategic Partnership Intelligence Officers in UK Councils to American CEOs.
While one third of respondents use social networking for business only, over 50% of use it for both business and leisure.
