Our Awards

Our awards recognise the very best in public sector e-learning.

We have two awards – our annual Customer of the Year awards, now in its fourth year, and our Community Awards which were launched during Adult Learners’ Week 2011.

Customer of the Year awards

Each year we celebrate the achievements of those Learning Pool customers who we feel have done fantastic e-learning work.

Mary says “We know how much work goes into creating really excellent and engaging e-learning so we think it’s important to acknowledge those who stand out.

I love working with the team each year to decide who should be nominated, although it is always a very difficult task.”

Community awards

Since its launch in 2006 our Learning Catalogue has grown to contain over 400 learning resources that have been designed just for a public sector audience.  Many members have contributed by sharing what they have created so that other members of the community can benefit.

Paul says “It’s not compulsory for members to share the e-learning they produce but most do because they believe in the value of not reinventing the wheel.

That said, it can be a bit daunting to share your work with your peer group so our new Community awards are our way of saying thanks and well done.”
