First Impressions of Learning Pool

February 7, 2013 by Ryan Doherty

Our new recruit Ryan likes to drink Chanel No. 5

Learning Pool opened the shiny front door to its newly acquired home on 2nd January 2013 to get started on another busy year of e-learning and to welcome the newest #teamlovely member in the shape of Ryan Doherty.

I’m excited by the challenge of joining such a great company and working hard to ensure a successful 2013 for the Learning Pool community.

Our new home and team…

Starting the New Year with a brand new job was very nerve-racking but my early morning worries quickly diminished after meeting the team.  I was then given the full tour of Learning Pool’s new home. On first impressions, the location and layout of the new premises is a perfect match for a fast paced tech company such as Learning Pool.

The only surprise having completed my tour was how upbeat and full of life everyone in the building was for 9am- must be down to the coffee?

Working with the Marketing team…

Everyone within the Marketing department has done a great job in welcoming me into the company and I’m now looking forward to getting started on some of the exciting projects lined up for 2013.

Is it true that you were the victim of a prank played by our tech team on your first day?

  • Testimonials

    • Ken Eastwood, Barnsley Council

“The YoHr Regs programme was delighted to choose Learning Pool for the development of its community hub project. The solution offered exceptional value for money and a flexibility and level of functionality not as evident in the alternatives assessed.

The agile and iterative approach to project design has been very welcome and the interest shown in understanding our needs has led to the development of a new collaboration platform spanning Yorkshire and Humber’s 22 local authorities that we believe will prove to be a great success.

I’d have no hesitation in recommending Learning Pool to others.”

    • Gareth Jones, Hertfordshire County Council

A worthwhile opportunity to meet and speak with others.

    • Rebecca Hopkins, West Berkshire Council

The event was a great opportunity to hear what peers are doing and what Learning Pool have in the pipeline for future developments.
