Brent Council‘s Sue Matthews believes that keeping children safe is everyone’s responsibility.

Competent and confident Social Care workers

As Development Manager for the Local Safeguarding Children Board , Sue’s role is to enhance learning opportunities around safeguarding from a multi-agency perspective.

What Sue liked about Learning Pool Social Care was the opportunity to benefit from the expertise of other Social Care organisations.

Brent Council can take any module from our Social Care catalogue, repurpose it and customise it to their own requirements.

Sue explains, “We are investing in our people from a multi-agency perspective to ensure that they are better able to safeguard our children”.

”Social care workers are now confident, competent and have the skills that they need to undertake the work that they are required to do”, continued Sue.
