Last Thursday evening I had the honour, regardless of how dubious it sounds, of being awarded Learning Pool’s “Mrs Doyle Award”. The award is presented to an individual who, and I quote, “cannot function within the organisation without tea (or coffee)”. Now knowing that both Paul McElvaney and Mary McKenna were not eligible for votes I knew I was in with a good chance of receiving it.

On his travels over the last while, Learning Pool's Paul has found that a strange thing has started happening which he'd thought he'd write about. More than once in the last few weeks people have told him that while they love the DLE and everything it can do for them, they feel they need an LMS as well to make their strategy complete. By way of setting the record straight, lets be clear... the DLE is an LMS ...we just like to think it's a little bit more!
